Nutrition Startup on the Rise with Retail Launch

Enduraphin, a graduating startup of the Koffman Southern Tier Incubator creating innovative sports nutrition products, recently completed its first retail launch at the Dick’s Sporting Goods House of Sport in Victor, NY.

The company, which graduated from the incubator in March 2019, is founded by childhood friends and Syracuse, New York natives, Danny Drake and Mike Dalberth.

Their mission is to simplify on-the-go nutrition for athletes through their products — Athletic Fuel and Whey Protein ready to mix shakes in patented PHINTECH™ bottles. The PHINTECH™ bottles are 100% recyclable and contain two built-in Phins to effectively blend the shake powder with the added liquid.

The July 2021 retail launch was accompanied by a Pro Day at the House of Sport featuring special guest Latavius Murray, running back for the New Orleans Saints. Middle school and high school athletes were invited to come participate in drills, build their confidence, and try Enduraphin.

“As two guys who grew up in Syracuse, started the business while at Clarkson University in Potsdam, and launched out of the Koffman Southern Tier Incubator Accelerator program in Binghamton, we couldn’t be more proud to continue to represent Upstate NY with this achievement,” co-founder Mike Dalberth said in a statement.

“Launching in Dick’s Sporting Goods House of Sport, and having them forever etched as our first premier retailer, is a dream come true for us.”
